Our story begins with a simple belief: the past informs the future, and experience provides perspective on both. Founded in 2019, IEQ Capital represents the culmination of over 30 years of investment expertise and two decades of collaborative partnership among our founding team.
Our journey started at prestigious institutions like Goldman Sachs, Fidelity, and Merrill Lynch, where we honed our investment acumen.
In 2008, we took our first entrepreneurial leap by co-founding Luminous Capital, an independent advisory firm that grew to manage $5.5 billion before being acquired by First Republic Bank in 2012.
But acquisition taught us that true innovation requires independence. In 2019, we founded IEQ Capital with a mission to combine the intellectual capabilities and resources of institutional investing with the emotional intelligence of authentic client relationships.
