Brandon Sim is a Managing Director at IEQ Capital where he provides investment advice to affluent families and investors as he has done for over two decades.

Prior to joining IEQ, Mr. Sim was a Portfolio Manager at Silvercrest Asset Management Group in New York working closely with high and ultra-high-net-worth clients to provide them with holistic wealth management services. His work there centered on relationships involving complex accounting and tax structures with multiple beneficiaries, spanning several generations. To serve his clients Mr. Sim designed several reporting capabilities and modeling tools that were ultimately adopted as firm-wide solutions available to all clients.

Earlier in his career Mr. Sim gained relevant experience in several positions with Sanford Bernstein, K2 Advisors and Private Advisor Services at DLJ Investment Bank.

Mr. Sim received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamilton College and a Certification in Wealth Management Theory & Practice from Yale School of Management. He also earned a Certificate of Graphic Design from Parson’s New School of Design. Mr. Sim is a former two-term Trustee of the Robert Burns Society of the City of New York, a published illustrator, and a Mason.

Mr. Sim resides in Garden City, New York with his wife and two children.
