Jen O’Neal is a Managing Director at IEQ Capital, where she leads client relationships and drives new business initiatives. She brings over three decades of experience across accounting, finance, banking, family office management, venture capital, and private equity.
Prior to joining IEQ Capital, Ms. O’Neal was a Managing Director at EPIQ Capital Group, a multifamily office serving ultra-high-net-worth families. Previously, she spent 15 years managing investments for single-family offices, gaining extensive expertise in addressing the complex needs of affluent families. She also co-founded a strategic capital placement firm, leveraging her network of family office principals and executives to connect them with vetted investment opportunities. Earlier in her career, she was an early Partner at Anchor Capital, a late-stage venture investment firm focused on direct investments alongside family offices.
Ms. O’Neal is actively involved in her community, serving on the Dallas Committee for the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Board of SMU’s Southwest Venture Forum. She is a frequent speaker and panelist at industry conferences and serves as a judge for early-stage venture competitions.
A native of Omaha, Nebraska, Ms. O’Neal moved to Dallas in 1990 to attend Southern Methodist University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics. She later completed a Master of Business Administration and a Master’s in Accounting at the University of Texas at Dallas.
