Jory Makin is a Director at IEQ Capital, where he provides investment advice to wealthy families and individuals. He has extensive experience guiding clients through complex wealth management strategies and supporting their long-term financial goals.
Prior to joining IEQ Capital, Mr. Makin worked at Cerity Partners, where he advised high-net-worth clients on investment and planning strategies. Earlier in his career, he was part of Ashfield Capital Partners, a boutique multifamily office, where he deepened his expertise in delivering personalized financial solutions.
Mr. Makin is actively involved with the Kelly Brush Foundation, helping to plan events and expand the organization’s footprint on the West Coast.
Mr. Makin holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Middlebury College and a Master of Business Administration from the NYU Stern School of Business.
Outside of work, Mr. Makin enjoys skiing, golfing, and fly fishing.
