Leon Baer is a Senior Director of IEQ Capital, where he advises wealthy families and individuals in navigating complex financial landscapes through tailored investment strategies, portfolio construction, and long-term wealth planning.
Mr. Baer began his career working with ultra-high-net-worth clients and institutional investors at First Republic Wealth Management. In 2019, he transitioned to IEQ Capital as a founding member.
Mr. Baer is an active volunteer and supporter of the United Way Bay Area.
Mr. Baer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Sustainability Management from the Kogod School of Business at American University, where he was a member of the Division I men’s basketball team. Prior to American University, Mr. Baer attended the University of Connecticut, where he was also a member of the basketball team and won the NCAA National Championship in 2014.
Originally from Berlin, Germany, he now resides in San Francisco, California, with his wife.
