Michael Juettner is a Senior Director focused on Investment Strategy, where he works closely with clients to build customized portfolios to each client’s unique goals and circumstances.
Prior to joining IEQ, Mr. Juettner was a Managing Director on the National Investment Team at Cresset Capital, where he spent eight years helping build the firm’s Equity SMA and Institutional platforms. In that role, he oversaw substantial assets across internal Equity SMAs as well as client portfolios. Earlier in his career, Mr. Juettner spent six years with Morningstar Investment Management, gaining extensive experience in research-driven portfolio design and manager selection.
Mr. Juettner earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, with concentrations in Analytical Finance and Statistics. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and is a CFA® Charterholder.
Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Mr. Juettner now lives in Los Angeles, California with his wife and their young daughter. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time at the beach and traveling with his family.
