Before joining IEQ Capital, Mr. Thompson spent 15 years at J.P. Morgan Private Bank, focusing exclusively on serving the financial needs of complex families and institutions. His responsibilities included managing portfolios across equities, fixed income, commodities, derivatives, hedge funds, private equity/credit, structured credit, and estate planning. Mr. Thompson began his career in institutional equity sales in New York City, specializing in the tech media and telecom sectors. He provided equity research and market data services to hedge funds and leading asset managers.
