Morgan Friel is a Senior Director at IEQ Capital, where he advises ultra-high-net-worth clients on portfolio construction, trust and estate planning, and other strategic wealth planning initiatives.
Before joining IEQ Capital, he led Autodesk’s global go-to-market strategy team. He previously spent more than a decade in financial services, including seven years at SF Sentry, where he was a hedge fund controller and led operations. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers, serving private equity and investment firm clients.
Mr. Friel holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, where he was a member of the water polo team. He earned his MBA from the University of San Francisco.
Mr. Friel lives in Mill Valley, California, with his wife and two children. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, golf, and skiing with his family.
