Thomas Camplin is a Managing Director at IEQ Capital, where he advises clients on leverage and liquidity strategies within the firm’s multi-family office offering. In his role, he works closely with ultra-high-net-worth families, organizations, and their related entities to evaluate and structure customized lending solutions, manage complex liquidity needs, and oversee strategic banking relationships.
Prior to joining IEQ Capital, he served as Senior Managing Director of Private Banking at Safra National Bank of New York, where he helped lead the expansion of the firm’s domestic private banking platform and build out their New York team. Earlier in his career, Mr. Camplin spent nearly two decades at First Republic Bank in a variety of leadership roles in both San Francisco and New York. Most recently, he served as Senior Managing Director of Preferred Banking, overseeing a team that worked with ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, private equity and venture capital principals, and real estate sponsors, as well as their corporate and charitable organizations. Throughout his tenure, he focused on customized credit solutions, liquidity management, and banking services tailored to complex client structures.
Mr. Camplin earned his degree in Finance and Business Administration from the University of Nebraska.
He currently resides in San Francisco with his wife and their dog. Outside of work, he enjoys trail running and traveling whenever possible.
