Alexa Carrington is a Director of IEQ Capital, where she provides investment advice to wealthy families and institutional investors. She has nearly a decade of experience in the financial services industry.
Before joining IEQ Capital, Mrs. Carrington spent most of her career in investor relations for private investment firms. Most recently, Mrs. Carrington served as Vice President of Investor Relations at Roark Capital Group, an Atlanta-based private equity firm with $38 billion in AUM. Previously, Mrs. Carrington spent three years at Avenue Capital Group, most recently as a Vice President in the investor relations group. Avenue Capital Group is a global investment firm focused on specialty lending, opportunistic credit, and other special situations investments. Mrs. Carrington also worked on the Investor Relations team at Corbin Capital Partners, an alternative asset management firm specializing in multi-strategy hedge fund and opportunistic credit investing. Mrs. Carrington started her career at SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where she was an investment banking analyst in the Consumer and Retail group.
Mrs. Carrington graduated from the University of Georgia, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and a minor in Political Science.
She is an Atlanta, Georgia native, where she currently resides with her husband.
