The Forbes ranking of America’s Top Millennial Advisors is developed by SHOOK Research, an independent research firm. The ranking is based on an algorithm of qualitative and quantitative data, rating thousands of individuals with a minimum of four years relevant experience and acceptable compliance records. Qualitative due diligence, which examines best practices—client service models, investing process, business types, leveraging a team and firm resources, etc.—is learned through telephone and in-person interviews. Quantitatively factors include revenue produced, assets under management, compliance records and industry experience. Portfolio performance is not a criterion due to varying client objectives and lack of audited data. Neither Forbes nor SHOOK receive a fee in exchange for rankings.
