Stephen Griffiths is a Senior Director at IEQ Capital and has provided investment advice to high-net-worth families for four years.
Mr. Griffiths began his career at Goldman Sachs in Private Wealth Management, serving as an Associate and Private Wealth Advisor. After three years at Goldman Sachs, Mr. Griffiths transitioned to First Republic Bank before joining IEQ Capital along with his team. Prior to financial services, Mr. Griffiths served nine years as a U.S. Army Infantry Officer. He commanded in the 101st Airborne Division on the Horn of Africa, supported 7th Special Forces Group as a Rifle Platoon Leader in Kandahar, and served as a member of faculty at Providence College teaching Military Science and Leadership. Mr. Griffiths earned the Bronze Star for Meritorious Service in Afghanistan and qualified as a U.S. Army Ranger.
Mr. Griffiths is active in his community. He is a corporate fundraising volunteer for the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, a Greyshirt with Team Rubicon, and a member of the board for the West Point Society of New England, an alumni non-profit raising funds for veteran charities.
Mr. Griffiths holds a Bachelor of Science (Honors) from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point and earned his MBA from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business.
Mr. Griffiths lives in Greater Boston with his wife, daughter and dog. Beyond finance, he enjoys strength training, skiing, and travel.
